In this article, we profile a number of products related to personal security, personal protection, emergency response and personal alerts. The piercing sound of personal security alarms can even be used to ward off vicious dogs or wild animals and of course would be thugs and muggers or even home intruders. Community and personal security involves measures which community leaders, families, businesses and individuals can take to enhance safety and personal security. In a world full of spam, identity theft, and heightened national security, no one can argue that personal security isn’t important. Passenger surveys consistently reveal that, despite low levels of recorded crime, passengers have real fears for their personal security while traveling on public transport. If you are in a parking lot or parked on the street and have trouble, be wary of personal assistance from strangers. If you wear a personal stereo, remember you can’t hear traffic, or somebody approaching behind you.
