I have long been troubled by the problems caused by Adam’s eating of the apple from the tree of knowledge. But, now I understand that this is the story of our coming to this space/time continuum.

We were with God in the Garden of Eden



We are eternal and everlasting souls and we incarnate into these bodies in order to experience who we are. Before we incarnate, we are with Source/God/the One. We are All That Is. We need nothing and we want for nothing. We are eternally happy, loved and loving, all powerful and all knowing.

When we incarnate, the only thing that changes is that we appear to be in the space/time continuum and we are given bodies. In truth, we are still with Source/God/the One. We still have all those abilities and all those powers. But, we also have an Ego, lower mind, that hides these abilities from us and envelopes us in a cloud of doubt, impermanence and fragility.

The Ego was given to us to allow us to believe in the dream of this earth. The Ego is the “Devil” who convinces us that we have broken God’s law and are now punished to live this life of 100 or less years in struggle and suffering. The apple is our covenant to accept “unknowledge” or “limited knowledge”; our agreement to live within the dream so that we can experience a life that seems to be separate from God. But, this is just a dream. Our goal is to rediscover the truth.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

The truth that we are still with the One/Source/God and that in partnership with the Creator we are able to create whatever life we choose, is what will set us free.

Little by little science discovers that all is energy and that the observer is able to change a wave to a molecule and back again with his thoughts. A particle is able to be in two places at once — because there is no time as we know it. Science has determined that there is no reason that time cannot go as easily backwards as forwards. These are limitations we agreed to when we ate of the apple.

When we decide we no longer need the limitations of the apple, we are free. Seek your truth and you will be free. Turn off the TV and meditate.
